inspection revealed deterioration/decay and splintering on a few of the deck boards on the exterior deck. also the rim joists which support the hand/gaurdrails and decking are cracked and spliting(on each level). have a general contractor, architect, or structural engineer inspect stairs and provide a written report with recommended repairs, then make repairs or replace as necessary to ensure stability and safety. a building permit is required. note: the items of correction listed herein are those which are observed, and do not include deterioration/damage which was not easily accessable and/or may be concealed and become evident when work is begun.
